Stillness

This past Saturday, I took a photography class at the Morton Arboretum.  One of the best takeaways I learned was how amazing a lake/river/pond can look in the early morning hours.  Look how still the water is; it make the reflection so clear.  So beautiful.  I might just need to become a morning person after all.

Best Diaper "Cake"

I think this is my best diaper "cake" to date.  Eric and I made this one for our friends, Matt & Lynndi Koester who are expecting their first baby next month (on Eric's birthday)!  The boys have started this tradition of having a diaper party honoring the soon to be dad.  Translation: a bunch of dudes + cases of diapers + cases of beer... doesn't sound so bad, huh?

It's going to be tough to top this beauty.

Precious Time

I can't express how much I love these little humans.  Time with them is so precious.

Quack, Quack

I recently hosted a (slightly overboard) duck themed baby shower for my best friend.  I couldn't be happier for her and her husband and I can't wait to meet their little one!  Miss you Abbs!
