Fourth Presbyterian Church

This famous church located on Michigan Avenue is one of the oldest (built in 1912) and most recognizable churches in Chicago from the outside (in a large part thanks to its location but also because it is gorgeous), but in all the years I have lived here, I have never stepped a foot inside.  Until today!  It was absolutely beautiful.  Perhaps even better than it's exterior.  I recently found out that this church is the oldest structure on Michigan Avenue, with the exception of the Chicago Water Tower.

Tourist weekends are back... and along with them... the street performers.

A Sign of Spring

This month's photo competition is "A Sign of Spring."  I decided to go the flower route... not sure how original that idea is, but I'm trying to decide which one to enter.  Any favorites?

The Drake Hotel

These shots were my back up for the "Show Me a Sign" photo competition.  What do you think?  Did I make the wrong choice?  The black and whites are really growing on me... (you might recognize recognize it from one of the best films ever - My Best Friend's Wedding - such a great movie.  It was also featured in Wicker Park, Mission Impossible, What Women Want, and Risky Business)
