Day 2: Words

February 2: Words
Today's theme is words, so I thought I would take photos of a couple signs around town... one catch, I only took part of the words in the signs.  Can you guess what all of the companies are below?  I think they are pretty easy, but can you get all of them?  Comment below with your guesses and I will give the answers out tomorrow.

Waffles

A new brunch place as moved into the South loop!  Waffles recently opened up on South Michigan Avenue and is already getting a lot of buzz.  Although I am not a huge waffle person, I must admit, they do a great job.  We are hoping some friends come and visit us soon so we have an excuse to go back - I need to try the red velvet waffles!

I'm probably the only one you know who would take a photo of the doormat, huh?

Lucky Strike

What do you do when you have week off of work in Chicago in December?  Go to all those places in the city you never go to.  First stop: watch the football bowl games while bowling at Lucky Strike.

Love this neon sign.  Definitely a requirement for a future basement (if I ever live in a city where basements exist).

Chicago's Central Camera

Since 1899... that's impressive.
I can't imagine a buisness being able to stay relevant for so long. Central Camera Co. is family owned and operated business for 3 generations. I've got to give them props for being able to survive the all changes of the photography world over the last 112 years!
