I found a new photo location. Welcome to 31st Street Beach! The clouds were very determined to cover up the sunset I was hoping to see, but I was still able to get a couple decent shots. I am excited to come back on another day!

Fireworks at Navy Pier
Tonight was my first time this summer at Navy Pier for the fireworks. LOVING my wireless remote control. Fireworks are so much fun to shoot, especially at Navy Pier because you can get up so close! I was giddy with excitement and might have even been dancing around my tripod. Meanwhile, my husband looked on and just shook his head at me. I believe he called me a photography nerd. Well-deserved, I suppose. Good times with the tourists on Navy Pier.

Revolution Brewery
We extended Eric's birthday to the weekend and celebrated at Revolution Brewing Co. We got a great tour of the brewery and had a very good lunch, but the highlight was definitely these cool beer taps.

Take Me to the River
Sunday was a really hazy afternoon, but I could not resist taking this shot. I absolutely love this angle of the city. Now if I could only experience it on a boat...
Come Sail Away!
Extravagant boats + gorgeous summer weather = Katie taking 150 photos on a regular Sunday afternoon. Enjoy my favorites!
Another "Forgive" spotted!
I am already planning on coming back here on an early weekend morning while the water is calm so I can get some clear reflection shots. Stay tuned!
