Chicago Board of Trade

The building at the end of this road (LaSalle) is the Chicago Board of Trade.  It was built in 1930 and was the tallest building in Chicago until 1965.  On the top of the building is a 31 foot tall Roman goddess.  The funny part is that the architect left the statue faceless because he thought it would be significantly taller than any nearby buildings so no one would be able to see the face anyways... well, flash forward to today and it is one of the shorter buildings around.  Whoops!
