On October 29th, we went to the Notre Dame vs. Navy game with a bunch of our good friends (Johnson & Maahs families). We kept an eye on the weather all week, but prior to going to bed on Friday night, it looked like we were going to luck out. Excited, we got up early and started the trek to South Bend, Indiana. We met up with the Maahs van on I-80 and we were good to go. Or so we thought... until the crazy hail came (weather.com did not inform us of this hail storm). But we didn't let a little (or a lot) of hail stop us from having a good time. After taking cover in the car for 45 minutes, the tailgating resumed.
