I feel so blessed to live in Chicago. For some reason, there is something about living in a big city that is so energizing and exciting to me. I know that I easily could have stayed in Des Moines, or even Waukee (suburb of Des Moines that I grew up in) and had a great life, but I'm so thankful that I was given the opportunity to move here for a short time in college and once again after college. I'm sure we won't live here forever, or maybe we will. Either way, I am thankful to be here and I don't take for granted how cool it is to live and work in the city. Even my grocery store parking lot is amazing.

I love skyline photos! Great work, Katie!
