Sun Dancing off the Skyscrapers

The Chase Tower is a 60 story tall building located in the Chicago loop. It is the 10th tallest skyscraper in Chicago and occupies an entire block downtown. The Chase headquarters and Exelon headquarters operates out of this building which is known for is distinct curving shape. Eric and I just so happen to be walking by at a perfect time for a couple shots.

This is the clock in located in their plaza (Exelon Plaza). I'll have to come back for another shot of the water fountain when it's actually turned on.

This is a building across the street, Three First National Plaza. It's sawtooth shape was designed to minimize obstructions it might cause to nearby buildings (that's a first!). The design also allows for thirteen corner offices on lower floors and nine corner offices in the upper regions.
There is your Chicago architecture lesson for the day!
